Crafted from natural reeds and blue velvet cushions, our new St Tropez Lounge Chair feels coastal and cool in the city, or haute couture in the country. Reeds are steeped in water, then hand-coiled and fastened to a sinuous framework, then finished with a satin lacquer that adds a luxe sheen. Its thick seat and circular back cushion are upholstered in a breezy shade as refreshing as its namesake.

MATERIAL & CONSTRUCTION

• Rattan core framing; Natural reeds finished with a lacquer topcoat Varese Mariner (100% cotton) velvet upholstery; A family-friendly fabric treated for stain resistance
• Our natural reeds are steeped in water by hand to increase their elasticity, then hand-coiled and fastened to base frameworks; Styles are either finished in a warm, honey-toned stain and coated with glossy lacquer, or coated with a satin matte lacquer to enhance their natural coloring

• Reed care: Use a very soft natural brush, feather duster, or soft cloth to gently dust or wipe the reeds; Spot clean with a damp cloth; Never use harsh chemical or abrasive cleaners that could erode protective topcoats; It can cause the reeds to delaminate
