Inspired by Verner Panton’s revolutionary 1960s “S” Chair, this sculptural seat reimagines a design classic in handwoven rattan. The fluid silhouette mirrors the iconic Panton form — a single, continuous curve that flows seamlessly from base to backrest — while replacing the glossy plastic shell with warm, tactile natural fibers. The result is a piece that bridges eras: mid-century modern lines rendered in artisanal, coastal materiality.
A slender iron frame provides hidden strength beneath the fine natural rattan weave, sealed with a clear lacquer topcoat to preserve tone and durability.

Best for indoor or covered outdoor use
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Blot spills immediately—do not saturate the weave.
Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasives; a lightly damp cloth (water only) may be used, then dry thoroughly. Keep out of direct, prolonged sunlight to prevent drying or fading.
The clear-lacquer top coat helps protect the natural rattan—inspect seasonally and touch up with a clear water-based lacquer if needed. Use felt pads under the base to protect floors and lift (don’t drag) when moving.
